The Division Chief Zong Fulin of the Pesticide Review Office of the Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals of Chinese Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) recently introduced the China’s pesticide review management objectives to the participants at the China Pesticide Export Business Seminar. ICAMA intends to apply the pesticide review system to conduct systematic review of registered products which have been in use for long years, thus to supplant those high-risk and low-benefit variety to ensure the quality and safety of agrochemical products and ecological environment.

　　ICAMA plan to choose 10 to 20 varieties, which are registered long ago and used in large quantities for registration review. The review process will include the concept of risk analysis control and crop group management, which will guide enterprises to change their way of thinking and act of product registration.
